You can find us on corporate social media, of course, via Facebook and on Twitter @bristolfilmfest.

You can contact us anytime at However, we are an unfunded, voluntary operation, so please be patient as we have limited time.

We do try and respond to all enquiries, and always have to prioritise. Thanks.

Before emailing us about submitting your film to the BRFF, please go to our Submissions Page.

We’re not currently actively on the lookout for volunteers as we have a bit of a waiting list of people wanting to get involved – BUT –  if you really want to, feel free to send over an email (and we’l do our best to get back to you, although we’re super busy with the festival most of the time) asking about volunteering at the festival or the rest of the year and we’ll keep your name on our database and let you know if any opportunities arise – it would be great to hear about your interest in radical cinema also.  Please can you put ‘Volunteering’ in the subject line of the email.

BRFF is ‘staffed’ by 7 part-time volunteers, and has no official sponsorship or funding, other than that which we sporadically apply for each year. Some years we have received funding (most recently from the South West Film Hub, the national film funding scheme run by the BFI), and some years we have simply had to fork out the money ourselves and get it back in tickets.

We do work with other groups, universities, and organisations, but we are not officially sponsored or funded by anyone. If you’d like to make a donation to BRFF, you can do so through our page at the brilliant new non-profit Media Fund.
